On January 28th, the 'Class Management and High-Quality Teacher-Student Relationship Construction' co-creation camp event, hosted by Beijing Peixing Education Technology Development Center, was held at Xiyou Primary School of Hefei No.168 Rose Garden North School Education Group. Our school organized the two-campus head teacher teams and teachers from 15 schools across the province to gather together, engaging in in-depth dialogue and co-creation on class management and teacher-student relationships.
To start with, this event focused on real problems in class management, covering 10 specific topics such as handling emergencies and crisis intervention, mental health education and stress relief for students, communication between home and school and collaborative education, habit formation and time management of students. Through a practice-oriented approach of 'understanding the topic - presenting the problem - analyzing the cause - formulating strategies - providing case support', it enabled in-depth participation and collaborative presentation by the groups. Also, through internal discussions within the groups, cross-group mutual evaluation, and expert guidance, a closed-loop of collaborative creation was formed.
Moreover, during this event, the head teachers of our school participated throughout and worked collaboratively, laying emphasis on the selected topics by the groups, deeply understanding the issues, analyzing the problem forms, tracing the causes of the problems, and formulating corresponding strategies.
Additionally, one of the important parts of the meeting was to conduct a collective discussion among the group members and present the results of the collaborative creation. Director Xu Degao of the Primary School Department of our school represented the group, presenting and showcasing the collaborative creation results.
Last but not the least, in this collaborative activity, the third group, which consisted of our school's head teachers' team, not only received praise and recognition from other groups, but also broke away from conventional thinking under the guidance of cross-group evaluations and experts, broadening the thinking patterns for class management and inspiring new strategies for class management. Later on, this activity awarded one 'Best Team' prize and one 'Most Popular' prize. Thanks to the efforts of all members, the third group was honored with the 'Most Popular' title.
In conclusion, in the future, our school will continue to expand its communication platforms, enhance the construction of the head teachers' team, and conduct in-depth discussions on 'class management and the construction of teacher-student relationships'. Ultimately, we will strive to promote the healthy growth of students.
